Winding Road warns of a series of three or more curves ahead, beginning to the right. Expect the road to snake for a stretch rather than a single bend.
Warning signs alert you to hazards or changing conditions ahead.
Reduce speed before the first curve and keep it down for the whole section. Stay in your lane on every curve and don't pass — sightlines are short by definition here.
Warning signs are usually yellow diamonds with black symbols. In construction or maintenance zones they are orange instead of yellow.
Three-plus curves = winding road sign; two curves = reverse curve sign. The exam distinguishes them by how many bends the arrow shows.
