Straight Through Only means vehicles in this lane must continue straight — no left or right turns are allowed from it at the intersection.
Regulatory signs control how you may use the road — they must be obeyed.
Hold your course through the intersection. Turning from this lane cuts across traffic in the proper turning lanes and is both illegal and a common collision cause.
Regulatory signs are usually white rectangles or squares with black or red markings. A few have special shapes: a red octagon means Stop and a red-and-white downward triangle means Yield. A red circle with a slash means something is prohibited.
In the exam's lane diagrams, a turn made from a straight-only lane is always the wrong movement — check the arrows before the vehicles.
