The two-way traffic sign (two opposing vertical arrows) tells you the one-way section or divided road is ending: from here, oncoming vehicles share the same roadway with you.
Regulatory signs control how you may use the road — they must be obeyed.
Keep right of the centre line, adjust your expectations for passing (you'll now need gaps in oncoming traffic), and take extra care at night when oncoming headlights reappear.
Regulatory signs are usually white rectangles or squares with black or red markings. A few have special shapes: a red octagon means Stop and a red-and-white downward triangle means Yield. A red circle with a slash means something is prohibited.
A staple exam question. Don't confuse it with "divided highway ends" — two-way traffic means opposing flows on one roadway, starting now.
