Merge Right (orange) directs traffic in a closing construction lane to merge into the lane on the right — your lane is ending ahead in the work zone.
Warning signs alert you to hazards or changing conditions ahead.
Signal early, match the speed of the right lane, and blend in at a gap. Watch for equipment and workers where the lane closes.
Warning signs are usually yellow diamonds with black symbols. In construction or maintenance zones they are orange instead of yellow.
Orange versions of familiar signs carry the same meaning as yellow, but temporarily — and remember doubled fines apply in the zone when workers are present.
