A single right curve is ahead: the road bends right at a gentler angle than a sharp turn, but still enough to warrant slowing down, especially in rain, snow, or ice.
Warning signs alert you to hazards or changing conditions ahead.
Ease off the accelerator before entering, follow the curve at a steady speed, and avoid braking mid-curve where it can unsettle the vehicle on a slick surface.
Warning signs are usually yellow diamonds with black symbols. In construction or maintenance zones they are orange instead of yellow.
Read the arrow like a map: it bends the way the road bends. Curves have flowing arrows; sharp turns have right-angle arrows — the test shows both and asks the difference.
