This yellow diamond warns of a single sharp right turn ahead — a corner tight enough that you must slow down well below highway speed to hold your lane through it.
Warning signs alert you to hazards or changing conditions ahead.
Brake before the turn, not in it: slow to the advisory speed on any tab below the sign, keep both hands on the wheel, and accelerate gently once the road straightens.
Warning signs are usually yellow diamonds with black symbols. In construction or maintenance zones they are orange instead of yellow.
Turn signs (right-angle arrow) mean sharper corners than curve signs (bent arrow). The exam checks whether you know the arrow's bend mirrors the road's actual path.
