School Bus Stop Ahead warns that school buses stop on the road ahead to load and unload children — often where the stopped bus is hidden by a curve or hill.
Warning signs alert you to hazards or changing conditions ahead.
Slow down and be prepared to stop completely for a bus with flashing red lights. Children may be crossing to or from the bus, including from behind it.
Warning signs are usually yellow diamonds with black symbols. In construction or maintenance zones they are orange instead of yellow.
