A right-turn arrow inside a red circle with a slash means right turns are prohibited at this intersection, usually because of pedestrian volume, one-way streets, or sightline problems.
Regulatory signs control how you may use the road — they must be obeyed.
Continue straight or turn left if permitted, and plan another route to get where you were going. The prohibition applies at all times unless a tab underneath limits it to certain hours.
Regulatory signs are usually white rectangles or squares with black or red markings. A few have special shapes: a red octagon means Stop and a red-and-white downward triangle means Yield. A red circle with a slash means something is prohibited.
Red circle + slash always means "you must not." Check for a time tab — a common question distinguishes a full-time ban from one that applies only during posted hours.
