Slow Down and Move Over — when passing emergency vehicles, tow trucks, or maintenance vehicles stopped with lights flashing, Alberta law requires slowing to 60 km/h (or the posted limit if lower) in the adjacent lane.

When you see flashing lights stopped ahead: slow to 60 km/h or less in the lane next to them, and move over a lane entirely if it's safe to do so.
