What is the minimum age for an Alberta Class 7 learner's licence?
You can get an Alberta Class 7 learner's licence at age 14. Applicants under 18 need a parent or guardian's signed consent.
A Class 7 licence is a learner's licence: you must drive with a fully licensed (non-GDL) driver aged 18 or older beside you, cannot drive from midnight to 5 a.m., and must hold it for at least one year before the Class 5 road test.
